In 2009 is when it all began. At the time many physical black owned bookstores were closing. Being a reader and building my own library I began searching online. My search motivated me to start my own independent black online business that would be centered around books to empower the youth and natural products containing natural and organic ingredients (Soy Candles, Essential Oils). HOKNH has a diverse range of titles to choose from and many books for young readers of all ages and backgrounds.  

We are dedicated to making the world a better place through providing literature to enrich the minds of our society. If you know better you do better. We believe books can change us and the generations to come.
